Arrived with a hopefully not permanent bend due to being shipped inside a bag.This is the only riding crop/quirt/whip that came ready to aim for a alternate dimension. Not sure what horse of a different color exists in a dimension like that, perhaps its bright blue and makes grinding noises when it moves, but thats kinda timey-wimey and not truly on topic.Its a quite lightweight crop, and the actual business end is a pretty soft elastic material The handle is a slightly harder version of the same or similar material The lack of rigidity in the shaft of the crop means that it would take an indorinate amount of effort to cause injury, so it would be a good selection for a beginner.This would be what I would consider a "wonka whip" made of licorice except it smells notice like licorice, but its the best metaphor I can come up with.Giving it 3 stars as it should ship in a BOX not a bag, and I can't fault amazon for shipping it in another bag, as it would have arrived bent in any case. It also should have a wrist strap so that you could actually attempt to use it without having to maintain a death grip on it. One good gallop and this is is on the ground and will need to be searched for later.

A bit disappointed in this item. Extremely flexible, there's no firmness to it. Not sure how it would work for impact play or even any kind of real-world equestrian use.
