These are great for scooping, but you cannot put them down on the counter and have the contents stay put. There is not enough flat area on the bottom to allow them to be level when full and put down.

It's funny, because someone else bought these for the 1/8 teaspoon for their salt box, same as me. The spoon fits nicely, is well-made, and sprinkles the salt well. BTW, the bowl part is shaped more like a rounded off triangle than an oval. Anyway the downside is that they are a little heavy, so I worry about breaking my glass salt box -- probably needlessly, but you never know -- and, the length is actually a little too small, so I wind up putting my fingers all over the salt, which is what I was trying to avoid.I rated it 4 stars, because they really are well made (accuracy unknown). Because the handles are short and wide, I think they would be good for people who cannot grasp items too well, like those with arthritis.

These are great for controlling portions and washes well in the dishwasher. And they are so stinking cute!!!

I've purchased RSVP's rose gold/copper 1 tbsp for my canisters and love the color and size, perfect for scooping creamer, coffee, etc. Wish these came in that color as well but what I love about these measuring spoons is they are small and compact, no extra long handle, just a comfy thumb sized handle which fits perfectly. And, an extra plus, this set comes with 1/8 tsp, which I use daily for my Chai spices that I add to my morning cup of coffee...Super happy with this set but....****NOTE TO RSVP, I'D LOVE THIS SET EVEN MORE IF IT WAS OFFERED IN THE ROSE GOLD COPPER COLOR!

These measuring spoons are exactly as pictured and described; very sturdy (like all RSVP kitchen tools), beautiful to look at, and easy to use and clean. Highly recommend.
