Fits my HF spray gun perfect and works great. Much cheaper than name-brand 3M stuff - but works just as well.This set comes with enough cups to keep me going for a LONG while.

The connection between the cup and the supplied gun adapter leaks like crazy. Cups fit in the adapter, very loosely and do not even come close to creating a seal. Don’t make the mistake. I did, spend a little more money and get a better quality kit.Update- I picked up a new cup adapter at HF and the cups in this kit fit it perfectly. It’s a shame the supplied adapter is such poor fit and quality. Certainly inconvenient, but a work around for my issue.

Great cups and liners. Exact copy for the HF spectrum cups and PPS version1 cups. Good, tight fitting caps and mesh strainers seem fine (I always strain my paint and separately anyways). My only gripe is the red adapter has the cam lobes cut backwards from normal. it still fits, but lefty-tighty just doesn't make sense to me. Otherwise, its a fantastic price for PPS style cups and liners. The red adapter fits the HF black widow guns, and the blue one fits those cheap off brand HVLP garbage guns. even without the adapters, it's a great price on liners and caps. Will definitely get more when these run out.

I was a bit surprised about the way I received this kit. Everything seemed to be thrown into a cheap cardboard box like they were in a rush. The lids were in a large unsealed plastic bag and many of them had spilled out into the box. The stirring stick, adapters, and retaining lid were just tossed into the box without any container or bag. The plastic cup liners were in two rows wrapped in plastic and the cup was on the end of one of those so at least they were properly packaged. I didn't say how the sealing caps were packaged because I didn't get them at all.As for what did come, that part looks pretty good. It comes with two separate adapters. One for internal threads and another for external threads. As seen in the photo, the new gun I used for the pictures has external threads and the blue adapter screwed right on. It the gun had internal threads, then the red adapter would have been used. As a side note, you will need some thread sealing tape when you put the adapter on your gun and this kit does not come with that.There are no instructions with this kit but it is fairly simple to use. The paint cup has scales and paint mixing ratios printed on it which makes it easy to mix right in the cup. The cup that I got had slightly different mixing graphics than what are shown in the add. These are simplified to simply show the levels for straight up ratios and are easy to follow but don't have the added scales for adjusting the mix.All you really need to do is put one of the disposable liners into the cup, turn the cup to the mix ratio your paint mix requires, then add your paint, solvent, and activator (if required) into the cup at the specified levels and stir to mix. Then you press the lid down onto the disposable liner and cup and screw down the retainer ring and you are pretty much ready to paint. In most cases, there is no need to strain the paint because the disposable lids all have built in strainers that will strain the paint as it goes into the gun, saving a step in setup.With these systems, you don't attach the cup to the gun, you attach the gun to the cup. You flip the gun upside down and press it down onto the paint cup lid. It will require a bit more force than you might expect the first time that you use one of these but keep in mind that the tight fit is all that is keeping the paint from leaking out of the adapter. Make sure to align the teeth on the adapter with the gaps on the lid and press it down. Once the adapter bottoms out on the lid give it a turn to lock the teeth on the adapter with the teeth lid and you are ready to paint.Once painting is finished, you simply flip the gun over, give it a twist in the opposite direction and pull it off of the cup. If the cup still has paint in it and it is not an activated paint, you can store it in the disposable liner id they sent you the sealing caps. Put the cat on the lid prior to removing the lid and liner from the cup. Then remove the retainer ring from the cup and lift the lid and liner out of the cup together. Keep in mind that the liner is soft so if you are storing paint in it, it needs to be protected.The primary advantage to these systems is reduced cleanup. Pretty much all that needs to be cleaned is the gun and adapter and the stirring stick and a funnel if you used one to pour the paint and thinner. Since the paint cup is using a liner, there is no need to clean it or the retaining ring and since the measuring, mixing, and straining are done directly in the lined cup, there is no added mixing container or measuring devices to clean saving both time and cleaning materials. It appears to be a good system and except for the packaging and missing sealing caps, it looks like a good system and I look forward to using it soon. Had they included the missing caps, this may have been a 5 star review.

These are near exact copies of the 3M design, but the diameter is a little smaller so don't try to use these with the 3M hard cup. The mix ratios printed on the are a real time saver, but I don't trust them for any jobs where mixing accuracy is critical. The included adapters are a nice bonus if you need them and if they fit your guns.

These work just as good as any of the others that I've ever used. For those who don't know, this type of spray system is powered by vacuum caused by the siphon effect. The idea is that you fill up the thin lined cup, place it inside a harder plastic cup, seal it, put it on the gravity feed gun (or conventional gun), turn it upside down and spray out all the air in the cup. Once you've done that, all that's lef is paint and it's readily available to the gun. This means that you can spray at any angle, including upside down, and still have paint flowing out. It's an amazing technology and this particular system is as good as any.

My kit came with 50 disposable mixing cups which goes in the 1 reusable measurement cup. I also received 50 strainer lids to cap the mixing cup and do firmly seal the mix. Then goes the black locking ring to secure it all together. Depending on your spray gun fit the adapter needed. I happen to have the inexpensive full size Harbor Freight spray gun and used the blue adapter. At this point you can choose to use the cap to seal the strainer lid or install to spray gun (upside down ofcourse). When mixing you should still use filter as you mix for automotive purposes. I will mostly be using for wood stain which should work just fine. This kit will speed up my cleanup time and reduce waste. Cleaning the reusable cups takes too long and spills if you don't stay vertical. This cup system keeps it all neat.If your time is worth more than 1 dollar per spray mix prep and cleanup time (less if at discount), then you should try this system out.
