An all-new bumper design for the Traxxas Slash 2wd (the only molded bumper made in the USA)! Our two-pieces design is simple, yet strong, effective and highly attractive. We made it two-pieces design to give the Slash owner the option of full front-end bash-proof and crash-proof protection with both the skid plate and bumper installed or if racing profile is wanted, the front bumper can be removed and the skid plate by itself can be run as light-weight alternative bumper skid plate that shreds 27 grams (almost full ounce) of weight from the front end of the truck. Our Traxxas Slash front bumper design completely eliminates the stock chassis-to-bumper support ring and the screws holding the support ring in place. Additionally, the RPM version uses thicker skid design (more than 60% thicker than the stock skid!) to supply the cushioning resistance basher-proof bumper needs. Even though our thicker, more stout front bumper and skid plate is significantly stronger and more beefy than stock, it still falls in at weight that is slightly less than the stock front bumper*. So even if the racer wants to run full RPM front bumper and skid plate, they won�t have to worry about adding unwanted weight. To help improve overall durability, our skid rail design is wider than stock, which perfectly matches the design of our front and rear Slash skid plates.

This part is so much tougher then the OEM part. It bolts directly in pace of the OEM part. They do sell it in different colors but black was what I wanted for my Slash's color scheme. I have yet to break it on my Slash truck even with crazy landings or cartwheel crash's.

Got this for my son's Stampede. It has saved many a repair job i'm sure. With the amount of times he's rammed into things, I'm surprised this still hasn't broken.

Works well and looks good. Takes quite a beating, and offers lots of protection. Perfect for the 2wd slash. I use it on my rustler. Bolts right up on the rustler (uses same bulkhead as the slash). Sticks out a bit far, but I think it looks fine.

I bought this bumper for a traxxas stampede 2wd. It fits perfectly, all the holes line up and the bumper clears the wheels and the body.at upon looking at it out of the box, I noticed the plastic was nice and strong. seeing this I feard that it would break in a crash or send the force of the impact through the body. I was wrong.This bumper is exactly what you want. decent price and excellent quality, most importantly it does its job. Ive crashed my truck twice now and am happy to report that this bumper absorbs the impact well enough to slow the car and roll it back slightly upon impact. the bumper has no signs of damage or wear after these two collusions, aside from paint it collected from what I crashed into.fits well, looks good, and does what it is supposed to. that is why i am giving you 5 stars.well done RPM. well done.

Love RPM products. I use to always just buy when the factory stuff broke. Now I just replace the factory stuff with RPM from the get go to save downtime at the track or the street bash. Trust their reputation. I have never had to use their warranty so that has to say something right? Been in the hobby over 25 years and currently own a dozen RC cars and trucks counting my kids stuff.

Waaaaay better then the stock bumper, lighter but A LOT more durable. Make sure to get some light buckets & rear bumper to complete the look!

I attached this to the front of my Traxxas Rustler for added protection. It bolted on just fine using only the original 2 screws from the stock skid plate. Now I have a great skid plate AND bumper that actually protects the car during front-end collisions. As an added bonus, the bumper makes a great carrying handle. I highly recommend this mod for your Rusty.
