Needed a plug to seal the ends of 1 1/4 in tubing that was cut on a piece of power equipment to accommodate some additional accessories. Worked very well to protect one's fingers from lacerations due to the sharp edges of the cut tubing.

Bought to cap a 1-1/4 NPT pipe. This 1-1/2 size fits the Inside diameter fairly snugly, but the overhanging cap does not extend to the outside diameter. Thus, any sharp edges on the outside of the pipe are still exposed. Will probably install with construction adhesive to form a bead extending to the outside diameter.

The plugs fit very nicely into my 1 1/2" thin wall table legs. The base is exactly the same size as the outside diameter of the legs. I was hoping that the base would be a little thicker but should last pretty good getting dragged around the concrete patio.

Durable and solid. Fit well in the hole we bought them for and haven't popped out, so we're pleased with the purchase. All of the plugs in the package were well-made and none were cracked or broken. What else do you say about a plastic plug?
