Removal of the strut assembly was fairly straightforward. It does help to have a good set of passthrough sockets, 1/2" drive deep and regular sockets. The project would be easier if you have access to a professional spring compressor. If you have a shop that could disassemble and reassemble the struts with the new spacers it will save you a lot of work.The kit is not visible from the side which means it leaves the stock look but does give you the desired effect. The only thing that I noticed different in the handling after install was the front seemed a little more bouncy than normal. Other than that there has been no affect on the steering or unusual ware on the tires.

I purchased this product with high hopes since I’ve installed and had many leveling kits on my vehicle. Install was pretty straight forward and went well. Installed in about two hours. Got it aligned right after. After about a day starting hearing a clunking noise from passenger side. Went back, checked all bolts and nuts. Everything was tight and too torque speck. Checked the cross member as well. All is good. Clunking noise continues, took into the dealer and they blame the spacer. I took the spacer out and noise was gone. I reinstalled the spacers and switched the side they were on. The noise continued on the passenger side. I took it to an off-road shop and they blamed the spacer saying it was a common issue. They recommended I call rough country. I did so and got a man on the phone who claims it’s just a simple plastic spacer and would not cause this. After the dealership, myself, and an off-road shop all narrowed it down to the spacer I find it disheartening that they will not stand by their product. This “simple plastic spacer” has cost me more money just trying to figure out why it’s making this noise. Very disappointed in rough country and this product. Stuck with a three year old truck that sounds 30 years old thanks to their simple plastic spacer.
