Product quality is good, what you'd expect from a rough country product. Put these on my 2007 Silverado 1500 classic 2wd. They do and work pretty much exactly as you'd imagine, just a spacer on top of the spring. In terms of instillation, I highly recommend having somebody else put these on. I am a transmission tech at a dealership so while suspension work isn't my 'forte' I'm fully capable of it and have done more than several leveling kits that consist of putting a spacer on top of a shock and strut assy. But, putting this one on to just a spring is a beast. It took me about 3 hours with shop equipment and tools, I had to use a trans jack on the end with the ball joint, and 2 screw/pole jacks on the front and rear end of the arm where the bushings are, and then alternate raising all 3 jacks incrementally to get the spring compressed and arm up to where I could put the bolts back in. Doing this ended up raising the vehicle about 2-3 inches off of the lift arm due to the pressure from the 3 jacks trying to compress the spring (I absolutely do not recommend anyone trying to do what I did as it was definitely not safe). I have absolutely no problems with the product, and would highly recommend the leveling kit. You can absolutely put these on yourself if you want, and using a spring compressor would make it easier than my experience, even though I personally think spring compressors can be just as dangerous. But my opinion/ advice is to save yourself the headache and have someone else put them on.

Leveled my truck just right but make sure to upgrade your upper control arms or it could lead to ball joint issues

So, this is what it looks like using the spacer and 265/70/17 tires with a 2” drop in the back. So, yes it does lift it but I don’t think it should be used if you are going for a higher lift down the road. For my truck, I had to put the spring 180 degrees away from where it’s supposed to sit, in order for it to actually fit. What this could cause is the spring could slip out. Is it a problem yes, a big one? Probably not. But overall it did lift my truck, it did what it’s supposed to do which is why I rate it a 5 star.

I drive a 99 Silverado and I was looking to install some spacers for the front of the truck. I bought these and got them installed at a local auto repair shop. I like to take my truck on dirt trails so I wanted some height to the front of my truck. These spacers are great and affordable. Plus, they are rough country which means they are solid and great! With the pictures I have shared, one can see the difference a 1.5'' inch raise makes on the front of my truck. Enjoy the product!

It was a little difficult to get the lower control arm down far enough to fit my spring back in, but other than that it took a good 5 hours and a couple of beers. Not that bad. Looks level at the end.

If you are looking to level your truck or as part of a lift, these are the ticket. They do however require experience with front end disassembly. If not, I would recommend you take it to a mechanic. Great product. Do not bother with the knock off levelers. Junk.
