I learned about Ronstan when my Synapse CCR eccentric overload trainer came with them. I decided to build a suspension trainer as well. I used this pulley with the Nossk RT-17 rope trainer, and it works perfectly. Very smooth and no creaks. Well done, Ronstan!

I loved the price, I like the fact that the bearing is nice and smooth and it'll handle a 1/2" or 12mm line... That said, it's a lot smaller than I expected. While it's rated for 1650lbs just by looking at it, I think I would feel extremely uncomfortable putting that much weight on it... I bought them to set up a spinnaker on my boat and ended up buying another pair of off-brand blocks as a "backup" for these just in case... I'll probably never update this review, but still.. Even if they hold half their claim I feel I'll be happy with them. Especially for the price. Let's face it. They're like 1/10th the cost of the "high end" brands...

It’s pretty much all plastic and there’s much better ones you can buy for less money on Amazon. I wanted to send it back, but Amazon wanted another eight dollars to come pick it up even though I have Amazon prime. Or I could drive it 40 miles to one of the drop off sites. this thing is pretty flimsy, I doubt that it’s going to live up to its ratings. Overpriced for what it is.

Theses blocks are solid and light weight. The bearing action is super smooth. I use these as a pulley system for my outdoor cable weightlifting. I had the Home Depot non-ball bearing versions prior to these and those others were heavy, noisy, squeaky, not smooth and got really hot. Don’t waste time. Go for the RONSTANS from the start you will not regret it.

I build my own gym racks and such, i had been using the pulleys from home depot and they would last about 3-4 weeks. THis pulley is indesctructable, ive now had it for 6 months and its going strong. I use it for lat pulldowns and cable rows with 200+ pounds and its smooth as silk. It's quiet and feels like it has incredible build quality.now july 2019 and the same pully is going strong, i came to buy some more.
