I think what other reviewers say about this is accurate. I have a regular all-in EPSON (Has been awesome for the last 3 yrs). However I needed a portable printer. Don't have to worry about ink issues, since it uses thermal ink paper and prints all the basic stuff I need. Which ironically is a about 90% of the printing I do, Now that I think about. For Photo shop or graphics intensive color printing, I'll use my EPSON. So this is a nice printer. Thanks Amazon

Rongta Portable Printer Review: A Game Changer for On-the-Go ProfessionalsI've recently had the pleasure of using the Rongta Portable Inkless Printer, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations, particularly for someone constantly on the move. Compact and lightweight, this little printer is small enough to fit snugly in my briefcase, making it a perfect companion for my vehicle, especially as someone who operates a small mobile business in car detailing and lawn maintenance.Design and Build Quality: The design is sleek and minimalistic, which complements its function as a portable device. The construction feels durable, and I appreciate the thoughtfulness of having it fit comfortably into tight spaces without sacrificing usability.Performance: The 300 DPI print resolution is impressive for a printer of this size. The clarity of the prints is more than sufficient for producing estimates, invoices, and even marketing materials right on the job. The fact that I can print documents as large as 8.5" x 11" (US Letter) and A4 is a major plus—offering versatility depending on the task at hand.Ease of Use: Setup was straightforward, as I was able to connect the printer seamlessly to my phone via Bluetooth. The ability to print directly from my smartphone or any other Bluetooth-enabled device has streamlined my workflow significantly. Whether it’s generating invoices at a client's location or quickly printing an estimate, the convenience offered by this printer is unparalleled.Portability: One of the key selling points for the Rongta Portable Printer is, of course, its portability. It’s lightweight and compact, making it an excellent choice for those who may need to print documents while traveling or working across different job sites. This printer has made my work routine much more efficient, as I no longer have to return to the office for paperwork. Conclusion: Overall, I would highly recommend the Rongta Portable Inkless Printer for anyone in need of a reliable, easy-to-use, and mobile printing solution. It's particularly valuable for small business owners who need to produce documentation on the go. If I had to purchase it again, I certainly would, as it has proven to be a functional and practical investment. Whether you're in car detailing, lawn maintenance, or any other mobile business, this printer will undoubtedly enhance your productivity and professionalism.

Easy portable printer. Very well made printer that doesn't need ink. The connectivity is easy print quality is very good for just quick prints. The value for the money you spend is worth it. I did text it out to print my return label for Amazon.

Useful little printer for when you're on the go and cant lug around a full sized printer with you, or if you just want to have something as a backup if your main printer were to go down which is the situation i'm currently in. Since its reliant on thermal printing tech, the paper itself is all you have to supply, which is cheap enough if you know where to look. Print quality is good enough for anything text, and somewhat decent with basic black/white images.Setup was simple enough, the only part that kind of threw me for a loop was the paper loading step. Its important the paper is facing the correct way else you will just be printing blank pages. Once figuring out that part, its was off to the races print-wise. Either app install (SoPrint) on the phone for bluetooth jobs, or driver install via an included USB stick for direct PC connectivity. Has a sizable built-in battery for the on the go type print jobs which should net you about ~180 pages on a full charge. A more in-depth manual is included on the USB stick which helps inform you on the steps of modifying the print quality.

Works well. Easy to use, I mean so easy. I use mine quite a bit. It's app controlled but still easy to work with. Small enough to take with you wherever you go. Prints out dark. No smudging or crimping, at least not for me..it comes with a roll of paper but it's kinda thin for me so I used document paper instead unless it's something that I just need a simple copy of.

This is an A4 style printer, although it will print US standard size fine. I can imagine using it for UPS labels, but not sure what else. Also, in order to use it, you have to download their print app vs just printing through normal BT. I tried using that on my iPad and it works, but not docked with the keyboard. The app only supports portrait mode, which is not how I use my iPad. It came with what looks like half a roll of paper and the optional USB key. Not sure what I would use the USB key for in this scenario, because I couldn’t use it to transfer files to my iPad or iPhone and there is no USB print port on the printer. That seemed odd. It does say it works with a PC (not my Mac). The instructions on how to get the App and the driver are kind of cryptic. It took me awhile to figure out which one to get on the App Store.
