The MM11 Pro ensures no popping on the outputs when switched as it passes phantom power and lowers the microphone signal about 60 dB. The unit features 2 balanced XLR jacks, one female input, a male output, and a momentary touch switch. Its large actuator switch can conveniently be used by hand or on the floor with your foot. It can be set on a podium or mounted to a Rolls MSC106 mic stand clamp with the rear panel screw holes. This device, at half the cost of others is actually silent. I set it for push “on,” and there is zero noise making the mic hot, and on releasing. Buy the damn thing.

I do public interest work as a retirement job. It’s really nice to use a foot switch so my hands are free. I thought this because the price was right. Are used it three times, and it failed completely. I sent it back to Rolls for repair, and they send it back fairly quickly. But, after only about six more games, the momentary on feature field again. Momentary off work, but that was useless to me.If it had continued to work well after the repair, I would just chalk it up to some sort of assembly oversight...something that would happen on a late Friday afternoon on the assembly line. But to have it fail again, in a slightly different way, after so few uses, I have to conclude that this is a cheap POS, and that you get what you pay for.
