I had read the reviews and they were right. You need an additional washer to make this work with my older bowflex. I actually hate using the seat in motion now as i have not found the right washers off the shelf. This was a swing and a miss on my part - buyer beware if you plan on this fixing the seat on an old bowflex you will be disappointed.

I bought four of these rollers to replace the old ones on my ancient Bowflex XTL. I added an additional M8 metric washer to either side of the bearing within the rollers because the new ones are a bit narrower than the original rollers (5/16" inner diameter, 5/8" outer diameter...or metric equivalent) and the washers keep them more stable.They seem to work pretty well. Be sure to use some steel wool or one of those green scrubbing pads to clean up the rails that the rollers ride on. There was residual black plastic on those rails from the old rollers that made the new rollers ride "bumpy". Once that was removed on both the lower and upper part of those rails, they roll pretty smoothly.Time will tell how long they will last.

My bowflex power pro developed a broken wheel in the rolling part of the bench.This wheel is a beautiful replacement. It did require the addition of a spacer washer as noted in other reviews. Once i drilled out the center of the washer, installation was easy.The seat now glides super smooth. I recommend it.

We have a 20+ year old original Bowflex XLT Pro. 2 wheels wore out. It is very hard to find these old parts, but we managed to find them here. Extremely expensive for what they are! But, far less expensive than buying a new machine. (There was a less expensive option at the bowflex website--about $5--but the shipping was over $60 to Canada)

Works fine as a replacement roller on my Bowflex, although I had to add a washer to position it properly.

This roller is indeed thicker in places than the original, however because of the extra thickness where the bearing seats, the seller should provide an extra washer to make up for the difference. Without it the roller bind tight against it’s mount and will not turn. It is a 5/16 bolt but it needs a specialty washer because a normal 5/16 SAE washer is too wide. Luckily I have a extensive nuts and bolts collection and discovered that if I drilled out a 1/4 SAE washer to 5/16 it fit fine. Took off two stars for the extra work I had to do.
