Unlike hockey or figure skates which usually require a "break-in" period to soften up and ultimately fit better after many uses, the Igniter allows the skater to have immediate comfort out of the box and get on the ice right away. It provides ample lateral support, forward flex and performance for all skill levels. Igniter appeals to those familiar with the fit of an inline skate or ski boot who do not want a hockey or figure style skate. Padded velvet lining and padded footbeds keep the feet cushioned and warm. A great rec skate for all who simply like to ice skate. Most ice skates come with a "factory sharpened edge" for safety during the shipment of the skates. While the blades may seem sharp, it is always best to sharpen new ice skates before the first use to ensure optimal performance on the ice

Fit as expected for the size ordered. Comfortable and easy to put on and adjust straps. The straps are perfect for adjusting the fit, but the buckle on one of the skates doesn’t hold very well. It keeps slipping back out of the track. I guess you get what you pay for. For the price and decent quality, I would say we did pretty well. They are very light weight. The plain black color is ideal to blend in and look sleek. Definitely need to be sharpened before use. BIG difference.

Great skates! Fit perfectly according to shoe size and are super comfortable. The blades were fine for learning some without sharpening but after getting a 5/8” hollow they were amazing with great control. The edge has held up well to many hours of skating on wild ice. 10/10 product

So we ordered multiple skates, men’s and women’s for myself and I love. I like the look of the women’s skates with the furry lining but I couldn’t pass up the ease of on and off with these, and also do amazing fit right to my foot like I used to have with roller blades. I think you should try these because I’m 99% you will be impressed unless you are looking for a true hockey skate or figure skate.I changed out though laces to pink for me and now we can easily tell who’s is who’s! Don’t pass these up!

I got these for casual skating that I’ll only be able to do a handful of times in the year. However, I’m very pleased with them. They fit very well and are super easy to adjust tightness at the ankle. They are quick and easy to put on and take off, they’re warm and comfortable, although they’ll probably take a bit to form to your feet well. They came pretty dang sharp, to the point where I was struggling with balance on turns, but that just takes more practice. These are great skates for the price, at least before it increased significantly.
