I'm not a podcaster or music man, I just wanted to pull audio from both my second computer and a Bluetooth receiver for my phone into my main PC so I can mix everything into the same high end DAC and headphones and listen to audiobooks or podcasts while playing mindless video games and have everything sound good with appropriate volume that's easy to adjust without fiddling with virtual sliders. And it does that phenomenally well.Build quality is great. Full metal body with satisfying knobs. The only nitpick is it does introduce a noise floor to my audio chain that otherwise isn't there. With just my DAC and headphones I can crank my volume all the way up and hear nothing, with this if I crank it WAY up I hear a hum, but it's completely imperceptible at any reasonable volume so not a big deal really. And yes, it is from this device, because the noise floor is there even without my two inputs plugged in. Possible it's from my PC, but the DAC is connected to the same PC via USB and doesn't have that problem, so I'm PRETTY sure it's the mixer but I'm not an audioelectrician wizard man.

I've been a singer for years. I've done some small time work, but mainly an avid amateur. For some time I've been searching for a system to make quality recordings of my vocals without expensive studio time. Here it is. I can pipe my audio backing tracks right in via Bluetooth. Either from my phone or MP3 player. Monitor is a snap by plugging in my karaoke speaker. (Or almost any kind of speaker or headphones.) The sound quality is superb. The supplied connector gives me the lead to my laptop for recording. The Rockmix5 is compact and rugged. I'm on the road 98% of the time so it's easy to take with me. I love it. Wish I had got it ages ago.

This is, on the surface, a decent mini mixer. For simple workloads -- a single mic and maybe some line-level audio or USB digital audio -- it does what it says on the tin.My main issue is the way line/usb inputs are handled. You can route the line/usb audio to monitor (headphones), or to the main mix, but never both. For my use case, this is a dealbreaker. I need to monitor the mix via headphones (so as not to get feedback from the mic) and send the analog mix downstream to a recording device. That seemingly simple task is impossible with this mixer.Yes, I could use a headphone amp somewhere downstream of the main mix analog output, but this would require additional components and would negate the whole point of this mixer, which is to be a compact all-in-one solution.

I'm a dance teacher who unfortunately has to teach a lot of online classes. I picked up this product as an inexpensive way to combine wireless mic and music together. It works great on mac and pc. It has a good amount of power and it is solidly built. I was also pleasantly surprised by how tiny this device is. Would definitely recommend for small personal projects.

Impressive mixer, very versatile in use, the bluetooth is a breeze to use and easier to connect to use than expected. This mixer is useful for bridging XLR to PC, and is easy to use. It has 2/3 extra channels for anything else one might decide to play or record, and has a very useful dedicated headphone monitor port which sounds excellent. I especially appreciate the volume and gain controls as well as peaking/clipping light indicators. The sound quality is great and easy to customize for the perfect fit to use however someone would intend.

This guy works great! Needed a USB DI interface for a while, didn't have 100 bucks to drop on the name brand one. Phantom power is no big deal, the lines work, haven't played with the bluetooth yet. I like the mini-mixer and echo fx that I can adjust in the line, without having to deal with computer program adjustments. For the price, it does a good job! It's a little interesting to learn on, but very straightforward. I just pressed all the buttons and twiddled all the knobs before figuring things out. Gain is interesting. Right now I have the computer's headphone jack plugged in as line in, so I can capture the desktop audio. Routing the audio outside the computer and then putting it back in through the usb is so nice.Next, to try some instruments out on it!
