Save a trip to the bike shop to press rear shock hardware into the shock eyelets. This does the trick perfectly. Used it to press 8x25.0 hardware into RockShox Deluxe Ultimate RCT 210x50 on 2022 Marin Rift Zone 1.

This is a simple product that is a must have to service your own Rockshox shock. It’s a simple tool, but it’s cheap and it works

I’ve done all kinds of janky C-Clamp and sockets DU bushing nonsense until I found this. Works great. Everything fits well and hard to mess up. Minor complaint is the end the tool will dig into the shock face, might try to find a washer that will rotate and save some gouging. Otherwise all good.

Yes, you could probably bodge up something like this, but, there is no substitute for how well this works to extract or re-install the shock mounting pin cylinders. I have a shock that I need to remove the 1" long pin, in order to remove the air can for servicing, and this tool makes that task effortless.

During a recent shock upgrade, I used this tool to remove the bushings (and caps) from the old shock and install them into the new shock. This tool worked perfectly! It's a perfect fit for the bushings and the caps and was simple to use. I did not have issues with the tool deforming as others have reported. The tool worked flawlessly and I am very pleased!

The right tool for the job. If you are replacing your stock shock with an upgraded RockShox model, this is the tool you want to remove your stock bushings so that you can reinstall them on the new shock. Very easy to use and a good addition to any mechanic's toolbox.I knocked off one star for a couple of reasons - its a bit overpriced for what it is, and for 99% of the mountain bikers out there this isn't something you really need. Just about any LBS will be happy to swap the bushings for you for free or for a couple of bucks. It's a fast procedure (30 seconds) that requires very little effort - just align the tool and twist away.It's nice to have, but really most people don't need it.

Bought this for an X-Fusion Vector Air shock because the rebound adjustment dial is so close to the bushing that I can't use sockets and a vise. This tool works so much better than a socket and vise does I'm wondering why I never bought one before. I also used it to insert a reducer into both bushings.
