Made to look like aluminum in the pictures but when it arrived it was plastic. The threads for the adjuster were stripped out and made the part unusable.

This item was just was we needed. My daughter (5 years old) has a bigger bike but her hands could barely reach the levers that came with the bike. We purchased these and it’s the right size, we were hopeful! However, during normal installation, the plastic piece that goes around the handle bar snapped. Now I only have one working brake.
