- The 1980 Series Snap-Fit Thermocouples offer easy installation into themajority of pilot burners. Both slim and standard thermocouple types areavailable in the 1980 Series without complicated adaptors, but with theextra insulation from high ambient temperatures that the brass sheath offerswhen needed. The 1980 is constructed of the same materials as used inthe 1970.
