I bought 3 of these over the last year and have been mad that I couldn’t make any of my new radios that I put them on work. Today I got the crappy plastic cobra mics out of the package and the radios work flawlessly. I’ve had them too long to send them back I just hope I can save someone else from buying such junk.

So far so good. The last regular RK56 mic I had only lasted about 6 months before having cord issues. I decided to try the.chrome version due to the metal wrap. I hope it last longer than a regular one.

Beat up, junk in the screen, scratches and dings all over it. Cable hanging out of the packaging. Advertised as “Like New” but was clearly heavily used by someone else. Will be returning. Despite the damage, I like the way it looks, just not going to pay almost $50 for someone’s hand-me-down when a new one is only a few more dollars.

Blows all other top shelf noise canceling mics completely away. Whatever you think you’ve got if you don’t have this one I promise it’s not good enough. I put off buying it for way too long. As good as many others are they don’t come close. That includes the regular rk56 with curly cord. The main reason I bought this was to get away from that curly bounce I’ve been hit in the face too many times and even had a windshield break. I had no idea that this would outperform to the level it does
