These are great shoes for indoor turf fields. The soles of the shoes are hexagon spikes and aside from looking cool, they do a great job showing your athletics off on the softball field. Not to give the shoes too much credit, but we had an inside the park grand slam the first night they were worn. They are comfortable, provide great grip on the turf and allow you to get a fast jump after the pitch is thown.These shoes are also great for pitchers. They do a great job allowing the pitcher to push off the pitching plate while providing that much needed stability when the other leg lands. There were no sliding or misteps during pitching and they allowed for a quick recovery into the fielding position.We did order a half size up to accomodate for foot growth and they appeared to be true to fit. The shoes are a little larger than needed, but certainly gave enough room for a little growth.Overall, I have been really happy with these shoes and the RipIt brand in general. I highly recommend giving these indoor turf shoes a try for your Softballer.

Lets start with the size issue everyone is having, unfortunately this is due to the seller not stating if these were women or mens sizing. I'm pretty sure the sizes listed are women's sizes as I ordered my typical size 9 and they fit perfect.These are made very well and are much more comfortable than any baseball shoes I have warn in the past. However these shoes are not your typical cleats because cleats are usually made of a harder material like hard plastic on the soles that also stick out further to be able to stick in the ground and get good traction on the field. The soles of these shoes are more rubbery/soft and they don't stick out as much for traction.

These shoes look and feel great. The tread pattern has shallow nubs that provide great traction for me. I use them when I go hiking on dirt trails and they perform great for my purpose. This is a very versatile shoe that I can wear when I am want an athletic type of shoe. These shoes are robust so they should last me a while.

I have regular, maybe slightly flat feet. These don't fit like regular shoes at all, super slim. Made for toddlers maybe? On the inside was what looked like a pair of socks tied to the lip and sides of the shoe, so when you put them on your toe can get caught in the netting. The toe section is also strangely hard, like they are steel toe boots—putting them on makes it feel like I needed to break them in, which is unheard of for shoes.Not for me.

My daughter absolutely loves this brand of turf shoes and cleats for softball so was excited to try these out. They are incredibly comfortable and provide a decent amount of cushion for her feet when she plays tournaments all day or for her indoor trainings. The grip on the bottom is great for turf. She is also a pitcher and the toes do wear out but not as quick as other brands.

I ordered size 11. These are not slightly but tremendously too small and narrow. Another family member who wears size 9 tried them on, and while they fit snugly heel to toe, they were too narrow and stiff to be comfortable. So, if you order these, order them two sizes larger than your regular shoe size, and only if you have very narrow feet and like hard-soled, stiff, nonflexible shoes. For me, these will be returned and not replaced with the same.

I got these for my 13yo daughter who is an aggressive 14u softball player. She is a lefty & 1st base and R. field. She needed turf shoes for her practice & batting cage sessions and we love the Rip-It brand. I love the way the tread is super rugged & seems to give her better traction on turf & her leagues hard dirt infields while still plenty good in the outfield. She loves these. Normally she is a 8.5 in womens shoes so I got a 9 for these to have a little room to grow. Very happy I did as they seem to run a bit small- these are snug on her which is comfortable and secure feeling but unfortunately not much room for growth. These will last her thru this season but not much longer. I suggest ordering a full size up if you are getting for a growing kid or 1/2 as size for an adult. She loves how grippy these turf shoes are vs. her normal athletic style ones. The boot is also much more snug and stable feeling.
