Worked well in the salt in Baja this winter. Not much memory when on the reel for longer periods and held up to being scraped across rocks and sand. After a few weeks of use did find nicks in it, but to be expected after that much use. Will get more for next winter in the surf!!

Okay okay….pun was intended lol but it’s Rio line, just like Cortland, or Orvis or any other main”line” haha sorry can’t help it….. anyways the name speaks for itself. If you are a fly fishing vet, or a novice this will work. Great cast, great float, great choice!

Some Rods prefer different lines so it’sNot always the line itself that doesn’t preform wellI use this on some of my less expensive rods an I have no complaintsI wished it came with loops because it’s a line people just starting use and it would take some of the frustration of attaching the leader on for themBut it cast just fine and will easily hold up for a season even more it depends on how much you fish and take care of it

Was pleasantly surprised how well this line performs at this price point. If your are looking to choose between the "budget" SA Aircell or the Rio Mainstream, Buy the Rio. The Rio's coating feels better in the hand and the Rio line seems to cast smoother..

I love rio lines. My favorite product they sell is line but I will say this line has a very cheap feel to it, and is very bad at keeping memory and also easy to scratch?! I was fishing with it and when I got the line caught on the ground I gently pulled it and later on I felt something on the line and it was starting to Frey or scratch the smooth surface. Spend more money on line and get their good products.

This is a very good quality fly line, offered at an excellent price. It casts smoothly and is very forgiving. Very durable and I like the color. It blends well versus some of the neon greens and oranges offered in lines in this price point. I am going to buy more of these in different line weights to replace lines already spooled on other reels. The company shipped this quickly and accurately. I really a negative to this review.

Can’t fault this line for the money. Given a poor review to the same line in a heavier weight as it suffered from bad memory. This one was perfect though.
