Words can't describe the lack of quality that this simple part doesnt have. The pin socket is not centered in the housing, the threads are out of round and not complete, the mating connector will not thread on, the center insulator is loose. I really needed this for a trip, was tempted to use it yet was concerned it would internal arc or short and damage other equipment. Yes. It's that bad. Poor design, abysmally manufacture, no QC.

I ordered two after reading the reviews hoping one would be better then the other, threads on both PL259 connectors were buggered from the chroming process and there were obvious issues with the casting, poor quality.. Maybe with a sqaure file I can make it work idk seller obliviously dgaf selling junk like this

It worked perfect for my application rather then the Firestik stud I had previously purchased it continuously kept spinning and would not let me tourq it down.With this connection I was able to catch the truck bed wall and I was able to tighten down the lock nut washer and stud.
