Feels similar to a belt only a little smoother. Not overwhelming unless desired. Wooden handle feels nice in the palm. Great toy considering the price

A decent product to see if you want to invest in something better....or custom.... handle isn't super comfortable to hold, leather is meh. If you looking to see if something like this fits your needs then its worth it. I don't own a horse...so take that however you want in this review.

Alight, you got me. I don’t have a horse. You know why I bought this, and I’m going to assume that you’re here for the same reason so let’s just leave it at that. Ok?Now for my purposes it works great. It doesn’t feel like a farm implement so it’s completely ok that I use it indoors. Additionally it makes a loud smack without fear of actually injuring any of your livestock. It’s lightweight and folds up for storage so you can even take it on vacation with you. Overall, this gives good pop for the price

This crop came exactly as pictured. It is fairly well built, you could certainly make one sturdier but for the price I believe it's worth it. I expect it to last quite a long time.If you use it for extended periods of time the handle gets a little uncomfortable, not too bad though. Would benefit from a reshaping.The crop holds up well to repeated impacts. There is no noticeable wear on the leather after use, I will update if it starts to come apart.Overall this is a good value item, I would recommend it.
