Definitely wasn't new. The case was beat up, the pad that goes on the bottom in the back was loose in the case, and the pad for the top of the helmet was stuck to the bottom of the case. It was a little dirty as well. I don't care that much as it's just going to be displayed with a bunch of others, but for those of you that do care, you've been warned.

This is a great helmet for home decor. It’s made of cheap plastic, so don’t expect the same durability of a full-size helmet, but it’s perfect for football decor. It doesn’t look cheap when sitting out with other decor. The Texas Tech logos are on BOTH sides of the helmet, so that’s great too.

I got this to go in my office and it looks great/very realistic! I was very surprised at the great amount of detail shown on these helmets. I've got it sitting right next to a very similar Seahawk mini helmet that also looks great. Go Beavs!
