This game looks bad without the CRT filter. These graphics were designed to be seen with this type of blurring effect, that's just a fact. So it's a shame the CRT filter (oh and the pixel smoothing filter too) is utterly, utterly BROKEN. There's a giant diagonal line bisecting the entire screen like some kind of screen tearing glitch or a big dark triangle jutting into the screen. And no, the update did not fix this glaring obvious problem. How did they not notice this? How did they notice this and ship it anyway, and then never fix it because they already got your money? Pure garbage. Sounds over the top maybe, but the main appeal of the game is the art style, and this one problem ruins the art style for the entire duration of the game. So it's not a minor quibble. Would you watch a movie with a giant dark triangle onscreen the entire time? No, you wouldn't.
