I bought them for my mom. She loves them. She is sort of blind and has problems with light and seeing things they worked perfect for her.

When my son opened them up he said he loved them and needed them when piloting his airplane. Excellent.

I use these gloves for knitting.Being a senior citizen who wears glasses, I am glad for the extra light, it brings on the stitches and the needles.

We live in a forest in the southeastern U.S., so just putting the garbage cans out at night requires headlamps. You just never know what's slithering or waiting in front of you that you don't want deal with. The problem with headlamps, though, is they point at just above where your eyes point, which is not where your foot is about to be. You end up bobbing your head up and down like one of those bobble-headed dolls, moving the headlamp ahead and down, ahead and down. These little hand lamps are genius. In combination with headlamps, they enable you to see not just where you're going, in the dark, but also the steps you're taking to get there. The hand lamps are not really sophisticated - little push button lights that look like your push button car key, secured to neoprene. That neoprene adjusts to your hand with Velcro. BUT what a difference. Suddenly you can point at what you want to see.I don't know how well this will work cycling, but for walking through the woods, you get major control. The photos are of my husband wearing one, lit and unlit. It will be such a relief to be able to walk outside without a neck ache!
