They are built with shatterproof glass to help ensure long-lasting use in spite of threats from tree branches, loose gravel and other debris. The glass is also a first-surface, electro-chrome glass, meaning it provides a clearer view without obnoxious glare. Each unit installs, using a universal clamp mounting system to attach to any tube 5/8" to 7/8" in diameter. This off-road mirror provides a wide view with E-stamped approved and certified 7" x 9" glass. The glass is semi-convex to widen out the view even further, greatly reducing blind spots. The mirror head is constructed from injection-molded ABS plastic to be durable and completely impervious to rust, and the plastic can be painted to match the look of any vehicle.

Some convex mirrors are too convex and distort everything too much. This one is pretty good.
