I got this book for all the coworkers to sign for a retirement party. It is a small size book, so we signed the book instead of a card. It turned out great! Everyone signed a page that they liked & wrote their memory or wish. The coworker can treasure this and re-read the book as many times as she likes. A card might just get thrown in the trash, but this is a keepsake.

This is the Best Retirement Gift you can purchase for a friend or coworker. It is easy to read with great illustrations to go along with the sage advice. I bought 50 copies to give out to our employees who were scheduled to retire over the next few years. You can’t go wrong with this great gift!

I bought this for a good friend's early retirement. It's a small, hardcover book that was very cute. To go with this, I bought an "old man outfit" of flowered shirt, plaid shorts, black slide sandals and of course they were stuffed with white socks!

As others have noted this book is quite small, so it's not much of a retirement party gift for the price. I put it with two other small retirement-related items in a gift bag. Since the recipient is retiring somewhat early to care for a grandchild, the standard retirement jokes are inappropriate. This one is not as nasty as retirement books often are about growing old and doing nothing. The captions are mildly humorous. Some of the quotations by famous people are clever and ring true. The animal pictures are darling. The person I gave it to likes "cute" a lot more than I do, so she seemed to like it. It was fun for other guests to look through. As someone suggested, it would be great for a group to sign this in place of a card, but I couldn't arrange that.
