We used these for salsa for a fiesta baby shower, and they worked great and looked so nice on the tables. I love the shape of the bowls, and they are very pretty. You can wash them and use them again.

These would be great for a dessert or something small like a three bean salad, but certainly not large enough for a tossed green salad. Very sturdy and nice looking, however . . .

My use case is a little unique, I think. I have found that these sort of bowls are great for use in out motorhome. They are super light, stack very well, can easily be washed and reused.These bowls are on the smaller side but are perfect for small sides, breakfast cereal, condiments, etc. They clean up nicely, if you plan on doing that. They have a nice shape, seem stable. My only gripe is that the lip of the bowl is sort of sharp. Otherwise this is a nice little bowl that will look good on your table and stand up to whatever you put in it.
