I live out west, and smoke season is the new normal. Several weeks of at least moderate smoke is common now. This year (2024) has been exceptionally bad. This mask allows me to hike and bike and not spend all summer indoors.This is a very high end mask. Not a paper covid mask. Pay attention to the sizing, if you do, it fits well. Air is very clean after filtering, no throat or lung irritation even after a 2-3 hour ride.I have two models: the sportsta and the ultralight. Company makes a wide range.Highly recommended

Bought this mask, a bunch of filters and the Proseal. The Proseal was a poor fit to the mask and the surprisingly stiff rubber to my face. Fitting a filter with the Proseal was a serious chore and the valves kept popping off, as they clearly have not been designed with the extra thickness in mind. Additionally, the single neck strap is simply not enough to keep the mask in place. I eventually lost one of the valves and had to order more from Respro (they're expensive and had to pay customs as they ship from the UK). Also ordered a Mask Strap which goes over the top of the head to hold the mask in place. Now I've set up the mask with mask strap and without the Proseal, and it works ok, but I have way over 100€ in the mask and accessories and would absolutely not recommend this. This product is way overpriced, nothing really fits together well and the mask should definitely come with the Mask Strap as standard. The Proseal is unusable.

This is one of the best masks that I've used. It's secure, never fogs, and is comfortable. The filters, however, are terrible. They're shaggy, hairy, and it feels like my face is being tickled when I wear it. I had to trim the fibers back like hair at one point, but that didn't last. Unfortunately, this mask uses custom filters, so you can't just grab a normal one. Hopefully mine is just some kind of outlier, because these filters are about $20 on their own!

I'm a teacher who teaches in an in person classroom. Concerns over wearing a mask for an 8 hour school day, protection from COVID-19, and my asthma pushed me to find a mask that would be comfortable, allow me to breathe, and protect from the virus. Initially this mask seemed like it would work for me, but within a few hours of wearing it I noticed that I was constantly shifting the mask upward on my face as it was pulling down on my nose. After one day of wearing the bridge of my nose was raw and red. In order to try to continue wearing this mask the next day at school, I put a bandaid across the bridge of my nose. I eventually tried using anti-blister pads. After a week of trying to make this expensive mask work for me, I gave up.Another issue that I had with this mask occurred when I was talking. After a time during the day, I noticed that the filter valves were releasing droplets...I can only assume it was from the air that I exhaled. As the air cooled it condensed into liquid. It was like I was spitting while I was talking, and that is not acceptable when dealing with people face-to-face.

I've been wearing these for a while and am very pleased with the results. Great fit, and I have no problem breathing through them. Although, I'm not doing anything high intensity when wearing this mask.

Funciona bien pero los filtros son una renta, además la restricción de respirar cuando vas en la un esfuerzo hay que tenerlo en consideración, lo bueno es que cuando vas sin ella sientes que tienes 3 pulmones, otro problema es que Febe ir apretada para poder funcionar bien además tiene el problema de disipar la humedad de la respiración.

I bought a large, and it's hard to tell if it has a good fit.My glasses fog like crazy when breathing out. One reviewer led me to believe that if my glasses are fogging, it means the mask does not have a good seal against my face. One thing I notice, this mask has a plastic nose clip instead of a metal one, like Respro's other products. With the plastic clip I can't adjust how the mask sits on my face. That's a product flaw, in making it lighter, if that was their goal, they made this product less useful, prone to fogging, inadequate face seal. That flaw makes this not a great anti-pollution mask.Nose piece being made of plastic, I believe, makes this a flawed product.

I am 5'9 and I would say that I have a proportional face and I ordered a medium mask, however, it turned out too small for me and had to return it to order a large one. Otherwise, the mask seems pretty good.

For persons who do not have a big nose, or for those persons lacking a nose bridge, all Respro products sit too low on the face. This is my second Respro mask. My first one I used for inter-city bicycle commutes. These are well made masks but Respro will be shooting themselves in the foot by not having either a neoprene or some sort of string to go over the user's ear. As such, the current design of 100% of their masks lack this functionality that some Chinese designs have (at 1/4 of the price of this mask here). By having adjustable material over the ear the user can close off the gap between the nose and top of the cheek. If you are a person with a large nose these will fit you great because Respro's fit depends on the user having a bridge to rest the nose clip on top of. I'll have to give mine to my friend because it makes it difficult to breath when you are running or doing strenous activity. The mask hugs my neck too tight and digs into the top of my nose. It also leaves huge gaps between the upper cheek.
