I have tortoises, they are small but their shell is huge it seems. This hide works out great. They fit in well and don't get stuck in the hole. Good price. Well made.

We have a blue tongue skink and he loves to burrow under his substrate. This hide box was perfect. It was large enough for our skink and provided a nice dark hide. Also, it's not super tall so it allows our skink to climb on top without the worry of the skink injuring himself falling off. This hide is made of a nice sturdy plastic and should last the skinks lifetime. Great product.

I have a blue tongued skink and I have a few different hides in his enclosure but he has gotten very large and I wanted to him to have a place to hide and stretch out at the same time. I wish it had a hole on either side so he can get in and out in on opposite sides. Since I already have other hides and clutter in there, this takes up a lot of space so having two entrances would be great. I tested it out on the ground first and he took to it very quickly. He really liked going into it and being able to stretch out his whole body instead of having to curl like his old hide. So I then put it in his enclosure so that he can have more space in there. So far so good! Seems to be a pretty good price for the size of this because it's very large. It seems to be a well made plastic and it is great for larger reptiles to be able to take refuge in. It's very easy to clean because it's literally like a plastic basin.

Title says it all! My snake loves this new hide, and I love how easy it is to clean. There's no strong plastic/chemical smell, and it is the right size (as described/pictured). Zero notes or complaints--- does exactly what it should! No fuss!

This is a nice simple hide for any critter wanting a darkened hole to hang out in. I found the dimensions listed to be accurate. Thickness of material is appropriate and is very sturdy. The medium size has some ridges along the rim if you were planning on making a slide in bracket for this as a sky hide. They are easy enough to trim down though.

This hide is great and works well in our leopard gecko cage she loves the dark hide and has plenty large access without leaving her feel open to the dangers of the outside world. The edges were smooth and not sharp so I do not have to worry about our lizard getting hurt and it is lightweight and easy to move when we need to clean the cage.

I got this for my Florida king snake, as she's due for an upgrade soon. It's as good of quality as the name brand black box hides. These are going to be incredibly easy to clean and maintain.Caution on the sizing though. Be sure to check the measurements before ordering. I got the XL, which is not what I would consider extra large. It's only about 8" x 12", the right size for a baby bearded dragon or ball python to grow into.You can use this as-is or add custom designs to the exterior using expanding foam, silicone and paint. There are a ton of how-to videos on YouTube. I usually make these look like rock outcroppings, but I might try to mimic a forest floor this time.The price here is decent, but you can usually find these for about half the price at the larger reptile shows. Overall, a decent hide that my snakes seem to enjoy. One star off for the price.
