New bulb would not work in the fixture! It was slightly different from my original. Several other reviewers made the same comment; Decided to take a chance. At least the return was easy!

In this pandemic time, it is not easy to get an electrician to come and fix the light. He tested the light bulb and it does not work. Although it has passed the deadline of return for a few days, may I return this bulb?Albert

My garage light went out, and I couldnt find this exact bulb..other than on Amazon! It's pricey but guess its what's needed!

Delivered on time, BUT this is NOT a direct replacement for the 9166B, unless you count having to modify the socket as "direct" The base on this is shorter and unless you are able to pull out the contact strip in the socket, it won't work. Great on a $45 bulb
