It is a solid bar table, no question. Everything is made from metal and it can probably hold a lot of weight. It's not flimsy, but when you look closer and feel it you can tell that it's not top quality. The surface is wood imitation coating, while being actual sheet metal. This is something more for student apartments or something similar, but not for someone wanting to put top quality furniture into their penthouse.

This table's attractive, solid/sturdy and quality material! For our purchase/use the dimensions are perfect as a side table for our Hot Springs Spa! The length covers most of 1 side of our hot tub. I could also see it used as an outdoor server/bar table or one to hold plants decoratively.

Got this for our patio it looks great and is plenty sturdy, easy to assemble but i suggest building the legs and then attaching the top which is not what the instructions say to do.
