I'm still experimenting between using this on either the batter or resonate side. It seems appropriate to both applications. I might end up with one on both sides of the drum. It is well made, nice finish and fit. I'm totally satisfied with it.

This is a GREAT idea from REMO! Sounds amazing, too. My only wish is that they'd offer this across additional product lines. For example, I really would have loved to see this feature in a FiberSkyn or Coated Ambassador, as I prefer the more dry tone of those models. Regardless, this is a well-executed design & my 22" 1968 Ludwig Standard bass drum sounds just incredible now! Thanks, REMO!
