If you’re contemplating purchasing an overall incredible grip, the Reisport Elite Protec Hook & Loop is an excellent choice to consider. I have participated in club and competitive gymnastics for many years and continue to practice when open gym is available. I recently transitioned from a local grip brand to the Reisport Elite Protec Hook & Loop because my previous one lacked the support and strength I anticipated.This grip enhanced nearly every aspect of my uneven bar performance and I’m sure it will yours too. One of the best features about it is its unbelievable strength. This grip is manufactured from a leather laminate, making it triple the strength of ordinary leather. Furthermore, it stretches less than 1% compared to 4% for natural leather. The best performances I’ve seen with this grip are when I use it to swing triple backs, and giants. They even sustained a repair. Totally my fault, I tore the grip hole trying to stretch it out on a piece of metal. That being said, I took them to a shoe repair place; guy stitched on another piece of leather that's been there for four years! These things are tough! They've swung triple back flips, caught release skills (Kovacs -brushes shoulder off-) and done well over ten thousand giant swings in their years.Time for a second pair. Best investment ever : )
