well, I wanted to charge and use my XBox remotes instead of just batteries when gaming on my computer. So I purchased this set. I can charge my remote but I am not able to connect because the sync button is under the charge port on the remote side of the cord. needless to say, I was disappointed that I could only use it for my XBox that it is already synced to. Yes, it works but I also cannot get full use with cords because button is hidden.

I was thinking that this would turn my wireless controller into the same thing as a "wired" controller. It dont do that. It is just another way of recharging a wireless controller.

Don't buy this if you're simply looking for a way to turn an old wireless controller into a wired one. If you don't have the wireless receiver, you can't play with it. It's only meant for charging.
