I have similar products i purchased from my A/C installer and have one left in box. I purchased one of these filter sponges to compare to the same product I have for my A/C unit. The product I received is physically the same size, Length X Width, but the product thickness is of lesser quality compared to one's id previously purchased. The one I have is a 1" thickness sponge filter. This one is half of that thickness. I don't even think it'll even fit in the metal a/c filter frame that i use to replace the sponge filter in. Was hoping for exact replacement product based on description in Amazon. I'd be careful about purchasing this product. In my caution, i only ordered one before deciding to purchase any more. Thank you

I really like these AC filters as it reduces the effort the system has to use to pass air through while filtering it thus the system is not working as hard and not nearly as noisy. I have not noticed any difference in the air quality one way or another -it seems the same as any other, but then I am alone and in and out frequently. The one thing I had a problem with was the issue of finding them on the internet to reorder.
