We've had problems with people fooling around, trying to steal our trailer or messing with the hitch, hoping we'd lose the trailer while towing. Now, this simple, effective lock, all that has stopped. Works great!

I use this as a trailer hitch lock on a dual PWC trailer. It's gets exposed to the elements and saltwater.It hasn't failed and many before did almost immediately. It's a minimal security lock but it does work.

I bought a Master coupler lock that didn't have the open end as this one does. It wouldn't fit around the coupler lock width, as this one does. This is the style to get for coupler locks. It's sturdy, and secures my trailer. Since coupler hasps are variable, you need a lock like this to ensure it fits different sizes. Pleased with the value.

This lock replaces one of those locks where you insert the key and screw it together. That type might be a little harder to cut off since there isn't a shackle, but it is a royal pain in the rear to get on and off- especially with frozen hands or in the pouring down rain.This lock has a shackle with a right-angle bend in it, and it couldn't be any easier to use. I'm wishing I had bought this one a year ago.Very pleased!

I wish i took a picture.. This lock worked great!!!! In fact so great that they had to cut the hitch end to steal my trailer after the lock wouldn't let go. Will buy again when i get a new trailer!!!

Product seems to be well constructed, fit my boat trailer well. It is more compact and easier to handle than the straight rod style which I replaced which got bent. I've only had it for a short time so time will tell how weather resistant it is. It met my expectation and is a good price. My view of a majority of locks is that they keep honest people honest and prevent an easy theft, if someone really wants to steal your stuff almost no lock will stop them this one included.

Excellent lock, especially for the money. This is a replacement for the same lock. The lock lasted me two years of frequent use (10+ times a week). I had to replace the lock because the key broke off inside the lock one morning. The temp was close to freezing so not sure if thats why or the lock bound up. Either way this is a great trailer lock for the money.

Great price, and a pretty solid little lock. The lock comes with two locking position for those extra wide latches on some trailer tongues. Not the best lock if you want to keep your trailer secure from being stolen, but it serves as a deterrent as well as a great locking device for when towing a trailer and you want to make sure that the latch is not going to come loose from the down/locking position when catching the hitch-ball.
