So my general opinion of this light is that it's pretty cool. It is mediocre bright during the day but at night it's plenty bright. It floats, like others have mentioned. I tied it to a piece of metal rebar so it would sink. I could see all the plankton around it. It lit up the ice under our shack.

Why read it? Because I didn't and the photo looks to be a white light (the color i needed). The diodes are green. My bad. But, you get 5 stars because it appears to be a good product and produces a bright green light.

Doesn't have built in weight so light floats on top of water. Wires are extremely small an fragile.

The 'submersible' light does not sink. This negates the description as an underwater light, as it does not go underwater. It floats.It also did not come with the described cigarette lighter attachment. I don't see how such an attachment could work since the wires have clips on them.Description looks copied from another product and is not accurate.
