I bought this reed so that I'd have something with a longer life-span than a cane reed. I use the reed on an Ahava Raba Clarinet by Erik Sampson and it sounds simply amazing! As a novice, I couldn't be more pleased with the playability and the bright sound. I will be a life-long customer of Harry Hartmann reeds from now on.

Maybe I need to go back to playing a wood Reed then go back and try this Reed again! Why I say this is because it seems to be far from the way the legere American cut plays! Otherwise, I wasted $39!

I totally love (if it’s possible to do so) the Fiberreed. I was becoming quite irritated with the cane reeds, but found Fiberreed being advertised on YouTube and ordered two of them. I am still playing only one of the three reeds I have because it makes playing high / low notes much easier. Which makes learning the tenor sax much more enjoyable.

Better than a Legere, but still useless. I think I have tried every Synthetic reed out there, at this point, and the only one I like is the fibracel, which does actually sound and play like a bright cane reed.

I was spending a fortune on tenor sax reefs till I purchased this carbon fiber reed. It Is Easy to play my instrument with this reed, I am a big fan of carbon fiber. It’s the new great durable material.

Excellent product, and great Seller. These Reeds are the finest Carbon blended Reeds in the World. They look, feel, and play like Cane Reeds. I purchased all five hardness's for my Selmer Tenor 54. The Reeds are true to marking; a Soft is 1.5, Medium Soft is 2.0, Medium is a 21/2, Medium Hard is 3.0, and Hard is 3.5. I use a Metal 24 K Gold Otto Link Vintage 5* with a BG LFJO Ligature. Make sure that you order the right Reed; there are (2) kinds of Carbon, and (1) kind of Hemp. My Reeds are Standard, NOT the Classical; which are for a different type of mouthpiece. These Reeds play perfect with no warm-up, or moisture required. Pro Reeds for Pro Player's.
