" MAGIK-ARM " is aimed for Minimizing the " play " of tremolo bar.

Ibanez EDGE type bridges can allow guitar players to do wide range arm-down and arm-up actions.

Please grab your guitar's tremolo arm and do arm-down and arm-up slowly. Maybe almost There is "play " .
Most of professional guitarists and high-class amateur musicians don't like this " play " .
And also it is difficult to adjust arm bar torque.
After many intensive testing, now RED BISHOP produces the new solution.
" MAGIK-ARM " solved this problem by unique structure and high machining accuracy.
We succeeded to make MAGIK-ARM as the bar doesn't have big "play" even if it is in arm-free conditionas.
Tool-less torque adjustment system frees you from having stress of changing plastic washers.

Perfect fit for my Ibanez

At first, I scoffed at the price of this and refused to buy one just on principle. After trying several other solutions to achieve a firm, resilient bar-and-socket, I caved and bought one for the Edge Pro on my Ibanez RG 1550. Sure enough: no wobble, no retightening every other session, and perfect adjustment for how much/little “swing” you prefer. The only product that equals this is the arm/socket of the Gotoh 1996t, but that uses an elliptical opening on the bridge plate—that is, you have to buy the whole bridge for it to work correctly. So, kudos to Red Bishop for finally cracking the code, but PLEASE consider offering free shipping and knocking $5-10 off the price. I have several guitars that need this product.

I bought this because I didn't want to mess with the plastic bushings for a new Ibanez RG I bought. To be honest I bought the arm before I ever received the guitar in the mail. The reason I knew about the plastic bushings issue is i own an Ibanez Roadstar which didn't have to OG arm, but I read the edge arms worked as a replacement. And when I bought the regular edge arm the bushings wore out within a day to where the arm just swung toward the floor. But, when I received my RG (with a lo pro trem) the arm didn't seem to have the same issue. But, nonetheless, id already paid for and received the magik arm so I went ahead and installed it while I was setting the RG up.If you're not comfortable taking off all the strings & removing the trem unit then you either want someone to install this for you or think about how badly you don't like the edge arm. I didn't find it to be hard to install, but there was a couple times I had hiccups. Nothing necessarily frustrating, I just expected it to be a 10 on the easy scale when it was more of an 8. And, if you think you'll be able to install it without removing the trem from the body then you're wrong. Unless you don't care about possibly scratching the body up then maybe you could, but I'd still bet you can't.After installation it's basically just a question of use. Like I said, I really based my need for this off of a totally different situation. And when I received the guitar the arm seemed very locked into place with the bushings system...but, was that something that was going to continue to hold up? I have no idea. But, I can say that this magik arm is ALMOST what it claims to be. The big selling point is "no more pesky bushings"...now you have an arm that can be adjusted by a screw that the arm sits in. The problem is I like my arm pretty tight. I want my arm to sit in one place and only move when I decide to move it. This arm (for me at least) is more of a "screw it down & it will rest basically in one general spot". For instance, if I use the arm it will sometimes slide/fall down toward the ground a bit. If I'm aggressively slapping it for a warble it will sometimes swing free. This isn't what I wanted, but, I have no way of knowing if the OG edge arm would've been better or worse. So on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give the magik arm a 7.8 for functionality. If you're possibly buying this to decrease the "wiggle" of your arm then I think this is definitely something that will never wiggle.

I've owned my RG750 since 1991 and the original plastic bushings on the trem wore out long ago as well as the spare set that came with the gat. Whilst tracking down a fresh set I came across this trem solution. It is well made and should last. It is bulkier than the original but that's OK. It's very solid and it can handle a good work out. Happy to recommend this product for those tired of the plastic sleeves. :)

So, this works perfectly, and I just ordered another for my second guitar. The tremolo arm sits higher than the original arm, and I wish they could make it sit a bit lower, that would really help. But, the locking nut is perfect, and I dont know why all tremolos are not like this.. Im so glad I got it.

Added to an '89 540S which has had a loose arm since I bought it 34 years ago! Works like a brand new floyd now.

It makes your Ibanez LoPro Edge arm do the Floyd Rose thing... Enough said. If you're second guessing getting this, don't. Buy it.
