The hood air vent carbon fiber inserts look great. They are sturdy and have a brilliant gloss finish. Perfect match for the hood tie down overlays. Exact fit for my 2024 Rubicon X. I added some silicone to the factory inserts prior to installation to be certain of a good adherance since the inserts are in the wind stream on the hood. I don't trust tape not to loose grip over time. NOTE: the only issue is that they do not come with a drainage hole pre-drilled so water will pool in the depression at the front of the inserts. I drilled a small hole in close proximity to the factory "weep" hole and problem solved. Without the weep hole, my expectation was that after a period of time due to the water not being able to drain that sooner or later there would be either discoloration or deterioration of that area. Shipping took forever from China, but would purchase again.
