The item is well made for the described price.The problem is that a wrong self-inking stamp was sent.What was ordered is not what was received.Whomever placed the item in the shipment box MUST make sure the item is the CORRECT item.

Returning. Very difficult to adjust date. Ink gets everywhere while spinning dials. I now have red fingertips.

I had forgotten that self-inking stamps have the date at the top and not at the bottom, so I did get some ink on me the first time setting it up. It stamps Best By and the date. It prints dark and neatly. I got it for personal use for my mail. It is handy and not too large, but the date is easy to read. I recommend it to anyone who needs to date something easily, as it is good through 2035.

Very black ink already installed, doesn't come with replacement cartridge so hopefully it isn't hard to find. Should be pretty easy to find ink pads it takes I would assume maybe at Office Depot. You just push on the cartridgeand it comes out. It features three dials to turn to correct date. It's small and pocket size worthy so very easy to slip in a purse or suitcase for on the go purposes.It comes with a small pedestal to sit upright when not in use. The two red buttons on the side help it to lock in place for storage.The only downfall is that as you can see in the video I tried to take out the ink cartridge to see just how easy it would be but in doing so it ripped off the "received" stamp. I tried replacing it without glue and it seemed to work until I locked it in place, it fell off completely. I'm going to get some nail glue and fix it. I use it mostly for homework, so the "received" isn't a deal breaker for me, it's easier than writing the date on everything.

Handy to use with all the paperwork and documentation I handle daily, much of which comes as paper and has to be then filed digitally. Way easier to stamp it before scanning than to have to edit the pdf once scanned
