These are installed quite easily using the included punch, which is actually short enough to give you room to swing a small hammer in the window space. The roll pins did seem to go through these quite a bit tougher than the plastic ones, despite the hole sizes appearing identical. Overall though, I'm quite pleased with them and don't have to keep telling my kids not to open those windows anymore from fear of them breaking.

I used these parts while renewing my 2003 Toyota Tacoma Xtra cab. They are a perfect replacement for the plastic components of the rear quarter window locks. They are perfectly sized, solid aluminum, and have a nice finish. They even include a small punch to remove the roll pins. Definitely worth the price!

Overall, great idea.Replace a broken plastic bit with a machined aluminum bit. However! On the sample I got, the two holes for the split pins. in the new part they are just a hair over 3mm where the split pin on my truck, is 3.5mm these parts will fit without some modifications to them. Also the video instructions are a little brutal. My truck is 22 years old, most of the plastic is very brittlePounding on it with a large hammer and using large pliers is a little overkill, that is likely to lead to more busted plastic.I would skip this product until they fix that hole diameter issue
