the housing near the USB side of the cable was basically disconnected within a day or 2 of use.

I had lost the charger that came with the headset and when I saw this one I was skeptical since it didn't have any reviews and it was way cheaper than I expected (it's the first wireless headset I've owned so I had no idea how much these go for). It charges my headset and I've had no problems so far.

This product is not 3ft in length, barely longer than the charger that comes with the headphones. As a replacement it works well, but if you want to charge your headphones while still using them with this, tough luck.
