How To Order Our Chains
If you order multiple quantities, they will be delivered as one continuous chain. The exception is welded brass chains, which have a maximum length of 10 feet. Quick connectors are available separately for extending chain lengths.

I was using the cheap plain oval gold chain I purchased at Home Depot because no stores around my home sells really nice decorative chain. I should have checked online 1st, but I needed chain in a hurry to hang my large stain glass windows (about 20 lbs each) which I use instead of curtains. About a year later, I decided to look online, and found this line of decorative chains on Amazon. This chain is unique and a beautiful heavy chain which you can't find in any stores near my home. My only complaint, which is minor -- and this doesn't have any thing to do with the quality or performance of this chain - which was not readily apparent when I made the purchase. I really only needed only 6" of chain per window side, and neither 5 nor 6 links measure exactly 6". Nonetheless, I made due with 6 links, and my hanging stained glass windows look much nicer than with the plain Home Depot chain.

I ordered four (4) of these 1’ sections of chain for a total of 4’. It is stated in an RCH response to a related question by a customer that if you order two or more feet that the chain will come in a continuous length.This wasn’t the case for my experience. I received four separate 1’ length sections of chain - with no way to connect them - or to the fixture itself - without cutting links, bending once, bending twice, and then hoping that the costly fixture doesn’t fall over time (see photo).That being said, I do think the chain is nice and exactly what I am looking for. I give this low rating because I have to return, and rebuy and contract through a review. It’s been a hassle.My fingers are crossed that RCH sees this in time to ensure that this next round of ordered chain (ordered today 1/2/18) is sent out in a usable fashion - connected.

These chains are gorgeous. They are exactly what I wanted to spruce up the look our my kitchen.One word of warning though, if you order directly from Amazon, I was told that all chains will be shipped in 1' lengths, contrary to what the descriptions says. I had to return the original order and called the vendor directly. They were prompt and very helpful in getting exactly what I needed, which was 8' of the chain, which I did end up cutting to the lengths I needed.I would certainly recommend this product and of course RCH Hardware gets my vote of confidence when it comes to customer service.

Product description clearly says that if you order more than one foot it will come in one piece. We ordered 3 ft and it came in three 12" sections with no way to attach them to each other. Very disappointing!

Using it to hang a very heavy (~20pounds) Victorian brass light fixture outside. The links are welded at the seams so it should be strong. I was a bit unsure what acid dipped meant as to the finish. In appearance the chain is fairly bright brass, not dark or appearing to have been artificially aged. The picture is a good representation of what it looks like.
