Very much needed because that stock base just wasn’t cutting it for me. Also love the addition of the cover too which is very much needed.It fits very well on my desk even in limited space. It’s a bit smaller than I expected, but it works. It comes up to eye level when I sit down, not coming over my head like I was thinking, but it’s fine. I found a space between my monitor to fit it instead of going over the monitors like I had originally planned.

It's not the most sturdy setup, but for the price you really can't beat it. The clamp is strong enough that I don't worry about it going anywhere, and once this boom is properly adjusted it's not wobbly or anything. I have mine setup so I can quickly pivot the mic out of the way when not in use and it works well. The included threaded bushing was the correct size.

So all Razer mics use 5/8 so imagine my surprise when the adapter didn’t fit ether of my Razer mics… I have a Siren Mini and a Siren X V2. I can swap the stock Razer bases between the two and this is the exact same set up the company sells for the Mini… so yeah it’s only $20, but now I have to wait for an adapter to get here as well.

If you need direction just refer to the manufacturer product page on amazon.If you bought a Seiren X first and used the stand that came with it, before considering in purchasing a boom arm. You might need to use a plier to loosen the black middle tube piece. Or do not secure it tightly.Utilize both hands to guide the boom arm so it doesn't look like its going to come out of your desk.You might need to add something on your desk to properly secure the boom arm. Depending if its slippery or not. (Using a Eureka gaming desk)Yes, there is a proper way to secure the wiring. (Please excuse cable management)

I've been using this for a month now, It has just got broken. The clamp wasn't that good, since day 1 the clamp wasn't well stuck. And you have to struggle in order to change the arm stand's position. I tried to change it today and it got broken. If the arm stand wasn't broken I'd have given this 4 stars.

The adapter they give you inside of the case isn't the right. Therefore, they're lying to you. It's false advertising. This does not fit even the Razer Siren X or the Elite, as they claim. Being lied to like this sucks. Especially for a streamer such as myself. My mic pics up so much noise, so I remodeled my entire streaming setup just so I could NOT have air inside of my audio. Hence the entire reason for buying this boom stand. The rest of the item is completely what it says it is. I had to purchase an adapter. I called Amazon and the represenitive was able to help me. I also reported the seller to the rep because they're false advertising. I took a risk on buying this product because it says it's really for the Razer Siren X and not the mini, which was where most of the negative reviews were coming from. Be careful when you purchase this item because it's not even for the Razer Siren X or Elite, I have both.

alot of reviews I read about this thing are how about it doesn't fit, the one very helpful review basically says exactly what I'm going to about read the product description and go through the pictures as I suspect alot of the issue stems from how people are not properly removing the base components of their Razer Seiren X microphone to install onto this product.It does fit, it also feels cheap but given the price that's no real surprise. It comes with everything stated in the box (including an extra unneeded part as this was not originally designed as a product for the Seiren X but does work for it), installation is painless and straight forward as long as you know to unscrew all of the base from your microphone not just one piece of it.Frankly my only real gripe with the product is that it does feel a little cheap but again, given what I paid it's hardly much of one. Noise Cancellation is non existent, you'll hear every time you move the arm but that can be tweaked and filtered out via various things in recording software so its not as apparent so no big issue.All in all, product does as advertised and serves its purpose for a reasonable price.
