If you work on any old cars with R12 valves this is a must have.

Bought this specifically for working with 300 pound recovery tanks. Clears the valve guard walls and hoses enough to actually operate the valves. Works smoothly and easy to clean and bathe the directional switch in oil to clear out dirt in the wrench. Overall I’m happy with this and thinking about getting more as back up.

So nice to finally get a tool that works perfectly. No resistance on either ratchet end and both turn buttery smooth. This is rare in my opinion as usually one of the ratcheting wheels binds slightly on the offset wrench design. My only disappointment are the sides of the wrench stampings. There are stamping burs which you see and feel. The steel was tumbled well and the burs were knocked down but they're still there. Somewhat of a downer on such a beautiful tool. I will be buying more Yellow Jacket tools very soon. So glad to see made in USA on beautiful tool.

I have had this wrench for a while and had a chance to use it on several applications. On some valves it is able to give you moreclearance so you can turn it while saving the skin on your knuckles. However I would suggest having both straight and offset wrenchesin tour tool pouch. As with all of these open winches you need to keep them cleaned and oiled I spray mine with break cleaner to removegrit and then re oil it. Word of caution do not use a cheater pipe on these wrenchs to loosen rusted valves they don't like it.....

This is one of those tools I keep in my pocket and use almost daily. It's indispensable in my line of work. Yellow jacket makes one of the best. I have probably half a dozen scattered in different tool kits. I've never had one break, and only one or two I can remember wear out. A great product from a reliable company.
