It's probably a good motor but the one I received literally fell apart before I could install it. When I removed the nuts from the two long bolts that are supposed to attach it to the snowplow motor base, the unit's top cover popped off because of fairly tight motor magnet springs. I had never seen something like that before. Perhaps sealing the lid with a strong adhesive during the factory assembly process or even adding a retaining piece of tape to secure the lid to the motor body would be a great idea.

The item matched my old motor but when I mounted it on the plow harness, it ran but it does not have enough torque to lift my plow.

I bought this in August of last year, First time I lowed my driveway didn't work halfway through the plowing, took it apart magnet came unglued to the housing china junk
