What a perfect mat for my 8 months old son. My son started to crawl and sit recently, so I bought this mat for him to explore on it. It’s pretty thick and comfy so it has no problems that baby crawled on it, and it’s colorful the baby just loves it. It is a very good quality mat for baby without any smell. It is easy cleaning and waterproof. My son spilled the water on it and just wiped it right away. Also, it’s very to transport, not too heavy, so I always just folded it and took it to my mom’s house when we went there. Love it!

I bought this as a present for my 6 year old granddaughter who has just begun gymnastics. She loves the colors and it is a good size for her for now. The velcro tabs along some sides will make it easy to attach another mat length-wise or otherwise for cartwheels, etc. The padding seems fine. My only comment is that this isn't super well made. The fabric isn't that well sewn/matched to the dimensions of the inner pads -- there are ripples and the fabric isn't completely smooth. For a child, it's not a problem. But it means only 4 stars.
