Overall, this is a decent rod holder that is easy to install, has a good variety of positions, and does not have any sharp/jagged edges that could damage/scratch a rod or grip. However, contrary to the item’s description, it is NOT GOOD FOR FLY RODS and I personally won’t risk any of my good fly set-ups with this product. I tried it out with a 7ft 6in 3wt and 9ft 6wt, neither sat very snug at all, and the strap did little to keep them secured because they were so loose. If anything brushed the strap and caused it to disconnect, a fly rod would slip right out. With that said, it was significantly better at securing conventional rods, so it isn’t a total loss in any way. If you primarily use conventional spin set-ups, this holder will do fine with a variety of sizes, and it can also be good for holding a few different nets, or even gigging spears. But if you’re looking for something better suited for fly set-ups, don’t go with this item; search elsewhere.

Got just what I ordered in a timely fashion. It mounts securely to the pontoon rails once you select the proper size. The accessory locks in firmly and removes quickly for covering. I have the rod holder and cup holder and it’s nice to be able to swap locations because they have the same base.

My crest tritoon was not a fishing version so added 4 of these to the bow and stern and the work great. Will even hold the rods well underway at full speed

Bought them for our pontoon. They fit great. I would say they are expensive. Then read the instructions and said not for use while trolling. Honestly not certain why you would want them if they can not be used for trolling. Was glad I only bought 1 and returned it.

We purchased 4 and one came missing parts, but they were awesome at getting those out to us! They work flawlessly. Hold our fishing rods when we aren't using them. And they fit on our square tubing without crimping.
