Its Primaloft Silver Rise insulation is warmer, lighter, more breathable, packable and loftier than most synthetic insulations found in full-zip jacket styles. Rab made the shell with 95% recycled Pertex Quantum Pro fabric for windproof, water-resistant weather protection that packs and breathes well. The helmet-compatible hood has a concealed face adjuster inside so you can seal out cold winds and winter snow or sleet. While fully featured and built with mountain intentions, this men's winter jacket also offers great casual style and versatiility for a warm and lighter weight everyday puffer.

Aside from the product that this vendor delivered to me, which was just gorgeous and met the described attributes of the garment, quality and materials design were commendable. I even feel that not much of a difference can be noted between Patagonia products and Rab’s. Supper warm and soft, but so light!!Now, let me add a note about the supplier, Outland USA, I must mention that their customer service was top notch. after I had placed my order I asked few questions about the order and product, Outland was prompt and quite detailed. The jacket was delivered as advertised and right on time for the cold spells we are now going through hear on my side of the globe. Outland offered to me enviable service and support. Thank you!!

Very nice jacket. Great fit great quality as expected. Paid £7+ for next day delivery. It arrived the next day. One criticism would be the packaging. For a high end product which you pay almost £200. I would expect it to be packaged better. It arrived in a shoe box with brown parcel tape keeping it together. Like something you would buy from eBay 2nd hand. Not a good impression for the recipient of the gift.

My husband purchased this coat because we were going to Illinois for our daughters boot camp graduation. The temperatures were 10 degrees and lower but the wind chill was in the negatives. He said that the coat was amazingly warm and kept him nice and warm while we were waiting in the frigid temperatures to get through the checkpoints before entering for the graduation on base. If you are looking for a coat that is warm but not bulky this one is for you. My husband wanted something that didn't make him look like a stay puff marshmallow but he wanted to be warm. When it first arrived he was worried because it was fairly light. We live in Texas and it doesn't truly get cold here until Jan-Feb. It did dip into the lower 30s the night that the coat arrived and he put it on and tried it out. He said that it was great. Well, it definitely was put to the test when we went to Illinois. He wore layers underneath but said that he was incredibly warm. I had on a knee length wool coat and was ok but my hands were freezing to the point where they burned with gloves on! he took his off and gave me an extra layer and put his hands in his pockets and they actually stayed warm!!!

I got this jacket last winter and was so happy with itI bought the same jacket in a different colour this winter and she is so happyI would have bought her the female version but it is not the same jacketWe are now both really happyIt's a great jacket

Have only used a couple of times so far, but one was in 19 degree F air temperature with 40+ mph winds and it kept me warm!
